Our Philosophy
At Serendipity, I believe children learn best when they feel safe, connected, valued and free to explore. Our program is rooted in play, relationships and the belief that every child is unique, capable and deserving of the time and space to develop at their own pace.
Our curriculum emerges from the children themselves. I observe their interests, listen to their questions and follow their ideas to create meaningful, child-led experiences and projects. Our days are filled with opportunities to play, create, explore nature, build relationships, solve problems and make discoveries, both indoors and outside.
With a small group of just eight children per day, Serendipity offers a warm and connected environment where each child can be truly known. I want children to leave each day feeling a little more confident in themselves, excited about what they discovered, and knowing that their ideas, their voices and who they are truly matter.
Childhood isn’t something to rush through. At Serendipity, we make space for children to simply be children.
Serendipity is a group care program that operates from September to June. The program operates 8:45 am- 3:00 pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 8:45 am - 1:00 pm.
